Please Note: The “standard fee” quoted represents the Mediator’s fee for a party wall dispute which is neither unusually complex or high value. The fee quoted does not cover venue, travel, or other incidental costs.
A “half day mediation” is a mediation which concludes within 4 hours, and “full day mediation” is one which concludes within 8 hours (eg 9.30 to 18.30 with a lunch break). The fee will include assistance in preparing the terms of any concluded agreement arising out of the mediation.
Once a mediator has been selected by the parties it will be necessary for an agreement to be reached between the mediator and the owners concerned as to the fee payable and any costs which might be incurred. Advice on, and full drafting of, a written agreement may incur additional charges.
